Frequently asked questions

How does the Grant Finder decide which grants appear relevant?

It filters current Grants.gov opportunities using the applicant types each official notice lists as eligible, plus your optional category, keywords and amount. Results are ranked by how many of your answers they match, and each result shows the reasons.

Does the Grant Finder tell me if I qualify?

No. It shows opportunities whose published information lines up with your answers. Eligibility is decided by the awarding agency under the rules in the official notice, which can include requirements the finder cannot check.

Do I need an account to use the Grant Finder?

No. The finder is free and needs no account. Your answers live only in the page URL, so you can bookmark or share a results page.
