How it makes and monitors grants (Schedule I, Part IV)
Qualified applicants must first apply for the scholarships. the scholarship team at folds of honor reviews all applications to make sure the applicants meet the eligibility requirements and have included all necessary documentation. eligible applications are scored based on objective criteria (for example, years of service in the military, service in combat, death or disability, etc.). when the scholarship application window has closed, the educational institution information of the eligible applicants is turned over to an internal review team. the internal review team is comprised of the vendor relations manager and the scholarship payable specialist. the internal review team then vets all the chosen institutions of higher learning, or private schools/tutoring companies for children not yet graduated from high school. after the internal review team has properly vetted the schools, a list of approved institutions is sent to the scholarship team. to the extent that there are insufficient funds to make all approved scholarships, awards will be made according to descending objective scores until available funding is exhausted. folds of honor notifies those students who are offered scholarship awards and the students must confirm their acceptance. awardee must report throughout the academic year before scholarship payments are disbursed. all scholarships and applicants are tracked after the awards.
