How it makes and monitors grants (Schedule I, Part IV)

All contracted agencies are monitored through monthly billings and data input. the agencies are granted funds through a request for proposals process for our federal and state funding that is allocated to our agency. monthly billing is received from contracted agencies that were approved through this process. the billing must state how many clients were served and how much is requested for that invoice. the fiscal manager reviews each request and approves or denies payment. if approved, the fiscal manager sends it to the executive director for final approval. each invoice must have how many consumers were served and how much is requested for that month. our data specialist then puts information into the state database and the fiscal manager sends the approved report to the state unit on aging (148-150) for reimbursement.
