Related to ecosystem change monitoring due to both natural and anthropogenic landcover changes, USGS seeks to measure changes in greenup and evapotranspiration using satellite images for hundred or so map classes along the transborder region that aligns with Bird Conservation Region #33 in the Sonoran and Mojave deserts.
