What it funds

Official synopsis as published by the agency, formatted for readability.

This project will support the Regional Framework Agreements on Air Pollution in Africa, with a specific focus on Southern Africa. The project funded through this award will build on the foundation of the Southern Africa RFA by building a regional community of practice to convene air quality experts, decision makers, community groups, the private sector, and other air quality practitioners and stakeholders. The community will create knowledge and develop best practices to improve air quality monitoring, modeling, forecasting and data management; expand awareness and understanding of air quality issues; and develop and implement air quality management frameworks and clear air solutions.
